CONTENTS

This website is primarily my online catalogue of dolls, which are made in two different sizes, as shown below, though the larger ones have now been retired.

I began my adventures in costume by dressing commercial dolls back in childhood but by 1972 had graduated to making my own range of original one eighth scale dolls and have since sold them to collectors all around the world - from Finland to Fiji. These dolls illustrated the history of English costume from 55BC to 1982. I have been making one twelfth scale dolls for dolls houses since 1995. The range here is from Medieval to present day.

All the dolls are made entirely by myself from my own sculptures and designs. They are made from cotton stockinette over a wire frame, with heads rigidly moulded to shape and hand painted features. Costumes are carefully researched and reproduced as accurately as possible within the constraints of their small size. I use a wide variety of fabrics and trims for the costumes - anything that gives the right effect for the style represented. Some have been specially purchased but others are recycled from vintage clothing or remnants. The cartons and any bubblewrap in which dolls are shipped are also recycled.

There are links at the bottom of each page to take you to the next one or back here to the Contents list. You may also use the 'Back' button to return to the previous page. Please remember to refresh the page if you have visited before in order to show any updates.

I hope you enjoy looking through and will come back again. Do let me know if you have any comments. Email me at ttccdolls@yahoo.co.uk.
