LINKS
You may notice that this page now is shorter than previously. This is because I have removed a number of inactive links and those that no longer have a link to this one. I am willing to link to any who I feel would be of genuine interest to my visitors and who reciprocate with a link to this that is easy to find - not buried somewhere obscure.
FAIRS
I attend the Miniatura shows twice a year at the N.E.C., Birmingham.
All the UK fairs and lots more besides can be found here: www.miniaturesfairs.co.uk
PUBLICATIONS
A very nice feature about my dolls was written by Audrey Robinson for Doll Magazine issue 94 Aug/Sep 2006
The Dollshouse Magazine has shown my dolls in Issue 122 July 08 (pages 17 and 19) in 'Talking Tudor'; in Cosette Desvergez's Tudor house in Issue 120 May 08 (page 24); a Maker's Profile by Jane Laverick in Issue 119 April 08 (page 48); in Issue 111 Aug 2007 (page 48) and Issue 100 Sept 2006 included one of my dolls in the competition prizes
I wrote a series of articles on the history of costume for the magazine Dolls House and Miniature Scene. Regency costume was covered in Issue 94 Apr 2002, Victorian Part 1 in Issue 97 Jul 2002, Part 2 in No. 98 Aug 2002 and Part 3 in No. 99 Sept 2002. They also printed a profile of me in Issue 90 Dec 2001.
Some of my dolls were included in a book, Dollhouse Style, written by Kath Dalmeny, published by Batsford in 2002. ISBN 0-7134-8744-5.
My dolls have featured in Dolls House World magazines Issue 188 May 08 (page 10) where John is standing in the doorway of one of Peggy Newman's houses, Issue 169 Oct 2006 (page 37) in the 'Come to Dinner' article, Issue 160 Jan 2006 in the article on Minstrels, Issue 158 Nov 2005 in the article on Arms and Armoury, No. 141 June 2004 and 143 Aug 2004 in the articles on Tudors and Victorians respectively.
