As you can see, we have taken the Gothic theme of the dollshouse out into the garden. The beautiful Font, window of the Folly and panel in the raised bed are from Redwood Stone. The Folly conceals the wheelie bin and compost bin. The paving is from Stonemarket. The Rood Screen is made from exterior grade plywood, painted and sponged in my favourite dollshouse technique to match the colour of the real stonework. At night we have spotlights amongst the plants and mist overflowing from the font - magic! Below is the award we were thrilled to receive in 2006 for the 'Best Secret Garden (Small Garden Category)' from Oakham in Bloom.
